Cherry Blossom Visit

Last Sunday it was a murky, gray day, but I knew a trip to the Cherry Blossom Trees was in order.  When we scattered Christine's ashes almost three months ago, I hadn't given it a lot of thought that they would be in full bloom as we awaited the arrival of her baby brother. Amazing how things work out that way.

Because of the awesome weather we have been having, they peaked early this year.  And because of the rain, a lot of the blossoms had started to fall  but we caught them just in time.  We had an amazing morning walking amongst the trees.  We were filled with peace and hope and love our new family tradition of visiting the trees in memory of our baby girl.
